Game Update
Still trying to get my computer up to speed so that I can work on the game again. I almost have everything back as I restore files that I was working on for the video game now. I have a lot of information to pull down from the cloud apparently. I’m really hopeful that we can pick up where we left off. We had just finished making 20 random events for town captures.
This weekend is a holiday weekend, and so I’m also considering buying a new system. I’m really trying to avoid spending unnecessary money these days though. I have so much old computer equipment laying around in my office these days. I don’t think I have the drive to fix things and work on it like I used to when I was younger. It’s probably a combination of a lot of factors. Hopefully we will be well on our way to the next major release soon! We have to do some final checks and then start the beta testing phase again.
Personal Update
I’m coming to the end of my dating hiatus. These last few weeks have been both good and difficult for me as I have been rebuilding. I really miss meeting new people, but there is a chance it may all be worth it in the end. I guess I’ll know for sure by next Saturday. Speaking of which next weekend and the following weekend area already booked and busy. I had a social dinner to go to on Friday but I backed out of it. Saturday is a board game night pick up as my friend had to cancel his so I scheduled one to take over for him. Sunday is our second Middara session. I feel like we are really clipping along with our pace already. The following week I have my regularly scheduled board game night, and my youngest sons birthday party.
I had to back out of one of the facebook groups I joined recently. There was a lot of drama and the vibe in there wasn’t something that was good for my situation. I suppose that’s just how things go in life in general. Not everything is going to be for everyone at the end of the day. There isn’t much else to say really. I’m mostly keeping to myself and staying on schedule with my work outs diet, and fitness goals. I fell behind a little on my run this week completing only 6 miles instead of 9, but there were some environmental factors to think about that stalled me out.
